What is Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment?
Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (OEP) runs January 1 through March 31 each year. People already in Medicare Advantage can switch to a different MA plan or return to Original Medicare. Cannot use OEP to join Medicare Advantage from Original Medicare. Changes take effect the first day of the following month.
