How long do I have to elect COBRA?
You have 60 days from the date of your qualifying event (or the date you receive the COBRA notice, whichever is later) to elect COBRA coverage. If you elect COBRA, coverage is retroactive to the date of your qualifying event. You can also decline COBRA and enroll in ACA health insurance during a Special Enrollment Period.
