ACA essential health benefits (EHBs) are 10 categories of services that all ACA marketplace plans must cover. The 10 EHBs are: ambulatory patient services, emergency services, hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, mental health and substance use disorder services, prescription drugs, rehabilitative services, laboratory services, preventive and wellness services, and pediatric services.
