What does Medicare Supplement Plan G cover?
Plan G covers: Part A coinsurance and hospital costs (up to 365 extra days), Part B coinsurance, blood (first 3 pints), Part A hospice coinsurance, skilled nursing facility coinsurance, Part A deductible ($1,676 in 2026), Part B excess charges, and foreign travel emergency care. The only thing Plan G does NOT cover is the Part B deductible ($257 in 2026). After paying that once per year, Plan G pays 100% of all covered Medicare costs.
